The Winchester boys varsity football team kept its undefeated streak alive Friday night in dominant fashion, steamrolling Masconomet with a commanding 56-22 victory under the lights. The Red & Black looked every bit like a team on a mission, unleashing a relentless combination of speed, strength, and execution that left Masco searching for answers.

The headline of the night belonged to running back Gianni DePremio, who turned in a performance for the ages. DePremio was virtually unstoppable, racking up 290 yards on just 18 carries and capping it off with a touchdown. Every time he touched the ball, the energy in the stadium shifted—whether he was breaking tackles at the line of scrimmage, bursting into open space, or dragging defenders for extra yards, DePremio set the tone and never let up.

But it wasn’t just DePremio. Winchester’s offense fired on all cylinders, piling up eight touchdowns and showing a balance that made them nearly impossible to defend. The offensive line dominated the trenches, opening holes wide enough to run a truck through, while quarterback play and receiver contributions kept Masconomet guessing. Every possession felt like a statement.

Defensively, the Red & Black brought the same energy, swarming to the ball and delivering physical hits that wore down Masco over four quarters. Even when Masconomet managed to string together drives, Winchester’s defense clamped down when it mattered most, setting up more opportunities for the offense to explode.

With the win, Winchester improves to 3-0 on the young season. More than just the score, it was the way they did it—decisive, dominant, and with a swagger that suggests this team is only scratching the surface of what they can be. Right now, the Red & Black look every bit like contenders, and if Friday night was any indication, stopping them may be the toughest task in the league.

The road ahead won’t be easy, but one thing is clear: Winchester is playing with confidence, cohesion, and an edge that has them looking like one of the most dangerous teams in Massachusetts high school football.
