The Red and Black cross country team made Senior Night one to remember, earning victories on both sides in their home meet against Woburn this past Tuesday.

The girls’ team dominated 15–48, continuing their unbeaten streak, while the boys’ team pulled off a close 25–32 win in a strong all-around performance. For those unfamiliar with the scoring, the lower score takes the win — making it a clean sweep for Winchester on a night dedicated to celebrating its seniors.
Several runners delivered standout performances, with Michelle Su (12), Chloe Chan (9), Millie McDonald (9), Tyler Bernstein (10), Noah Manneli (10), Nikola Dimitrov (11), and Adel Halaseh (10) all setting personal records.
With the results, the boys improve to 2–2, while the girls stay undefeated at 4–0, now ranked 4th in Massachusetts.

“The team is looking strong, and with this momentum we can really move up in the league and state going into the latter half of the season — as long as we stay healthy,” said team captain Helen Li.
The night was about more than just fast times and rankings, though. Senior Night gave the Red and Black a chance to honor their graduating athletes and celebrate everything they’ve contributed to the program. The home crowd, teammates, and coaches all made it a memorable evening — and with this kind of momentum, the Red and Black look ready to finish the season on a high note
