Boys' Tennis Dominates Cambridge

Winchester High School's tennis team dominated Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School with a 4-1 victory on Thursday, April 10th. Junior Carl Stredicke (second singles) and Senior Sam Song (third singles) both achieved stunning wins. Stredicke impressively recovered after losing the first set to win the following two.


In doubles, seniors Thomas Andrews and Jamie Binda-Dunn won in straight sets, while junior Adhvay Karthikeyan and senior Jeff Chen quickly defeated Cambridge's second doubles pair.

Although Freshman Henry May lost his first singles match against a high-level Cambridge opponent, his position on the team is noteworthy. Playing first singles as a freshman is a significant challenge, and he undoubtedly has a promising season ahead.
