The Winchester boys’ volleyball team continued their strong season with a commanding 3–0 victory over Arlington on the road, marking their second win against the team this season. The previous meeting between the squads was a tighter 3–2 battle, but this time Winchester controlled the match from start to finish in Arlington’s newly opened gym.

While the full box score can be found on MaxPreps or the team’s Instagram page (though not all posts may be fully accurate), the on-court performance spoke volumes — with contributions coming from nearly every player.
Libero Ethan Lubomerski had a standout night, anchoring the defense with strong passing and an aggressive serving strategy. By targeting Arlington’s libero, Ethan forced numerous shanked passes and off-system plays, giving Winchester an offensive edge. He also racked up several aces throughout the match.
Middle blocker Bryan Jiang made his presence felt with a string of powerful kills and key blocks, helping shut down Arlington’s attacks. Fellow middle Eliot also contributed at the net, adding timely blocks.
Tuto, praised by teammates as the team’s most consistent performer and best all-around athlete, once again delivered across the board — scoring in multiple ways and showing smart decision-making at the net.

Setter and energy leader Bryan Lin played a pivotal emotional role, celebrating every point with intensity and fire that lifted the entire team’s momentum. Julien added key kills in the second set, helping to maintain the team’s rhythm during crucial stretches.
Bench players Ben and Hoaran also stepped up as spot servers, delivering under pressure and helping maintain the team’s advantage.
Winchester’s strong team chemistry and balanced contributions were on full display, setting the tone as the season continues. Fans can follow the team’s journey and score updates on Instagram and MaxPreps.
